These terms govern all cleaning and maintenance services provided by Ménage Qualité. Please read them carefully before booking.
Last updated: February 2025This document defines the terms under which Ménage Qualité (the "Company") provides cleaning, maintenance, and janitorial services (the "Service") to its clients (the "Client").
Use of the Service — whether through a signed quote, a booking, or the continued receipt of services — constitutes the Client's full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Client authorizes Ménage Qualité to subcontract part or all of the work to qualified third parties where necessary. Ménage Qualité remains fully responsible for the quality and delivery of services under the agreement, regardless of whether a subcontractor is involved.
A written quote will be provided to the Client before service begins, detailing the scope of work (type of cleaning, location, frequency) and the applicable price.
The full balance is due upon completion of the Service, in accordance with the payment terms set out in the quote or invoice. Late payments may be subject to fees or interest charges as specified on the invoice.
Service dates and times are agreed upon mutually by Ménage Qualité and the Client. Any modification or cancellation must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may result in a cancellation fee.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Ménage Qualité supplies all equipment, tools, and products required to carry out the Service. The detailed scope of work — including floor cleaning, surface wiping, sanitary areas, windows, and common areas — is specified in the accepted quote or contract.
Any change to the agreed scope of work must be approved by both parties and may result in a revised quote.
Ménage Qualité maintains general liability insurance covering material damages directly caused by its staff or subcontractors during the provision of the Service. Claims must be reported within 48 hours of the service date to be considered.
Ménage Qualité is committed to delivering services that meet the quality standards agreed upon at the time of booking. Any dissatisfaction must be reported within 24 hours of the service so that appropriate corrective action can be taken at no additional cost.
In cases of serious or repeated failure to meet agreed standards, Ménage Qualité reserves the right to terminate the contract or offer a fair adjustment based on the circumstances.
Information provided by the Client — including name, address, phone number, email, and service location — is used exclusively for service delivery, scheduling, and invoicing. It may be shared only with subcontractors or service providers directly involved in carrying out the Service, under strict confidentiality obligations.
The use of the Ménage Qualité website, including cookies and tracking, is governed separately by our Privacy Policy.
The rates applicable to each engagement are those specified in the accepted quote or contract. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in writing.
In the event of non-payment, Ménage Qualité reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Service following a formal written notice, without prejudice to any other remedies available under applicable law.
The contract takes effect on the date indicated in the quote and continues for the agreed duration — whether one-time, recurring, or subscription-based.
Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, public health emergencies, strikes, government-imposed restrictions, or major infrastructure failures.
In such events, the affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the force majeure. Both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected services at the earliest opportunity.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the District of Montreal.
By signing a quote, completing a booking, or using the Service in any form, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
